Third Round – Mallory Park – E.M.R.A. Saturday 2nd May 2026

Words – Brian Ross (F.S.R.A. Press Officer) / Photographs – Simon Heath

As we approach the middle of the season, the third round sees us return to Mallory Park for the one day extravaganza. The fast flowing track starts on Kirkby Straight heading into a long right hander around Gerard’s Bend plenty of room for overtakes. Then it’s down the Stebbe Straight into the left right of Edwina’s Chicane where ‘dive’s down the inside’ and ‘cutbacks on the exit’ are possible. The Esses then lead us up to the slowest part of the track where we enter the Hairpin and Bus Stop Chicane before powering out and around Devil’s Elbow to the Start/Finish line and complete the 1.3 mile lap.

As per both rounds last year, Mallory sees us enjoy a day of double racing. As this could prove to be a fantastic point scoring opportunity, drivers need to be careful in order to make it out for race two and get the valuable points on offer.
