This was another well supported event, featuring twenty Pre-Injections sidecars doing battle over four races in perfect weather conditions. John Shipley / John Ward, after two wins on the Saturday were forced to watch the Sunday races after engine problems ruled him out of the second half of the meeting. His misfortune has helped the other championship contenders catch up. It was the larger capacity outfits taking the wins, with Simon Horton / Adam Buxton on the Wintec 1100 GSXR Suzuki and Stuart Anderson / Kerry Hughes on their R1 Baker. However it was the Chandler brothers - John and Douglas - who benefited the most with their 600 R6 Ireson with podium places all weekend, and they now lead the championship standings.
