The 2020 F.S.R.A. / Lane Building Services

F350 / Post Classic / Pre-Injection Championship

FSRA PI Header

It is with regret, that after discussion, the FSRA committee came to the agreement to cancel this year’s Pre-Injection championship. (20/06/20)

The first concern is, that after speaking to the hosting clubs, the championship representative (Dave) has had to decide what is the most sensible course of action to make in these present times.

The second concern is the personal team’s health choices, their financial situations and the fact that there will be no presentation evening of awards this year.

The remaining meetings were:

East Fortune: 18th and 19th July  - It is too short a time for all Scottish regulations to be guaranteed to be lifted and for teams to make plans to enter (Scotland are currently looking at the earliest a date of July 15th for certain sectors of the leisure industry to tentatively open).

Cadwell Park: 8th and 9th August (Sidecar Revival)  - This round had already been cancelled.

Croft: 5th and 6th September - No information available at this time.

Mallory Park: 20th September - This event would have been possible (assuming no further restrictions are imposed)

Anglesey: 10th and 11th October - The Wirral 100 club have communicated that the Welsh restrictions together with the Isle of Anglesey having a high recent number of COVID 19 cases means that they can only hope this event may happen.

Therefore, the remaining five rounds scheduled this year have only one planned championship round that may happen as circumstances currently stand.

B.M.C.R.C. are running a test weekend at Brands Hatch from Friday 17th - Sunday 19th July featuring sidecars, and E.M.R.A. are intending to run a two day meeting at Mallory Park on the 1st and 2nd August, and later a single day event on Sunday 20th September. Both of these clubs were hosting rounds of this year's Pre-Injection and ACU/FSRA British F2 Sidecar Championship. Please keep a look out on club websites and social media feeds, and put entries in promptly to avoid disappointment, as meetings are likely to fill up quickly.
