2018 - A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. F2 Cup Championship - Third
(2018 was Chris' first season-long campaign, as other years have
been cut short or disjointed owing to work-related constraints)
Chris made his racing debut in 2011 on an aging Derbyshire chassis, competing at Aintree and Darley Moor. He then missed the following two racing seasons, owing to the nature of his work in the Army. He raced at approximately half of the B.M.C.R.C. events between 2014 and 2016, but a further tour of duty saw Chris miss the entire 2017 racing season.
Having left the Army, Chris joined the A.C.U. / F.S.R.A. British F2 Sidecar Championship in 2018, completing his first full season, and finished a very credible third place in the F2 Cup, on what is one the oldest outfits running in the series - a 25 year old chassis housing a 15 year old engine!
Chris and new passenger Lee are hoping to build on the results achieved last year, and be in contention for wins in the F2 Cup class in 2019.
